West Woods Golf Club was a well-loved but dated facility needing more space, more light, and improved function

overall. The restaurant provides year-round service, not only to golfers, but to the larger community; therefore, it was important to design amenities that would be welcoming to everyone. 10,000 sf was added to the existing 10,000 sf city clubhouse, 4,000 sf of which was added to the existing 2,000 sf restaurant. The new layout provides separate bar, dining, and conference / event spaces and, uniquely, it offers sight lines to each area while also making each area feel distinct and separate while inhabiting them. Window walls flood the space with natural light and a golf simulator was added for year-round revenue. The outdoor space accommodates larger groups of potentially noisier revelers while the indoor space is more quiet and cozy.
