The design objective for The Falls at Lake Las Vegas Resort was to create one of the most unique Golf Clubs in Las Vegas. In the spirit of Italian villages scattered throughout the rolling hillsides of Tuscany, the architecture is organized around a central paver stone courtyard anchored by a signature bell tower with 'eroding' medieval-like walls. Similar to Tuscan villages, the clubhouse is broken into various buildings as if added, over time, in a laissez-faire fashion. Rooms are scaled and proportioned to feel warmly residential. The interiors have a 'crafted from available site materials, make-do' appearance with a casual, relaxed integration into the hilltop site. Antiquing of all surfaces and hand-distressing of woods creates a very relaxed, casual character, as do European elements such as imported Italian tiles, copper and enamelware accents relating to cooking, and Old World-inspired finishes.
